How it works
There is no booking engine here and no card form. You tell me the day, I tell you the price, and you decide.
Which trip, which date, how many of you. I only run one group at a time, so some days are already taken.
For your group, all in — the car, the fuel, me, and anything the day needs. No per-person maths, no extras at the end.
Nothing online, nothing up front. Cash or card at the end of the day, once you’ve seen what you paid for.

Why go with me
Ida Outanane is home, not a destination. My family is from these mountains, so when we stop somewhere it’s usually because someone I know lives there — and the tea comes from a house, not a stall.
We go where I’m known. That means tea in someone’s house rather than a stall selling you something.
None of these places have signs, railings or phone signal. Knowing them is the difference between a good day and a bad one.
You won’t queue, and on most of these trips you won’t see another group at all.
If you want to swim for another hour, we swim for another hour. Nobody is waiting in a minibus.
Before you book
Group trips show their price per person on the page. Private trips are quoted: ask us and we will tell you, usually the same day. There is no fixed price list for them because each one is private: what it costs depends on the trip, how many of you there are and how long you want to be out. Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Because a single number on a page would be wrong for almost everybody who reads it. Two people and a family of seven are not the same day out, and we would rather quote you honestly than publish a high price to cover ourselves. Group trips are different: one programme, one price per seat, so that price is on the page.
No. Asking costs nothing, there is no deposit, and we take no card details. You pay your guide at the end of the day, in cash or by card.
Most of them, yes: when you take a day, that day is yours — your group, your guide, nobody else. The few marked "Group trip" are shared: anyone can join, and the price per person is on the page.
Closed shoes you can walk in, water, sun protection, and swimwear for the trips with water. Every trip page lists what that particular day needs.
On most trips, yes — the walking is gentle and can be cut short. Tell us their ages when you book so the day is planned around them. An adult stays with them throughout.
We move the trip or call it off, and you pay nothing. You will hear from us as soon as we know, usually the day before. We would rather rearrange than take you somewhere miserable.
Free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. After that, message us — nothing has been paid, and we are reasonable about a genuine change of plan.
